Seth Meyers created Ascent Financial Management when he recognized the need for a multifaceted one-stop-shop for individuals, families, and small business owners to work with truly trusted advisors that manage the relationship between investments, insurance, legal, and accounting professionals; it’s all about relationships and proper planning.

Seth grew up in the independent broker/dealer world holding many positions at the Capital Financial Group / H. Beck, Inc., assisting the firm to grow to over 1200 entrepreneurial financial advisor types nationwide. Seth also has worked at Guardian, Nation’s Capital, Wells Real Estate Funds, Boeing, and the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum.

Seth resides in Rockville, Maryland with his spouse and three young children. He is involved in numerous civic organizations and philanthropic endeavors including the Walter Johnson Education Foundation, Mooney Summit, and the Bill Gilliland Foundation. Seth earned his BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and currently holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and Life and Health insurance licenses.

Seth is an avid aviation enthusiast, active Commercial Pilot, and often travels in his Mooney Missile Aircraft to visit clients and advisors.  Ask him for a ride, he’s always looking for a reason to take a trip up in the wild blue yonder.
